4/23/08 Four Wildcats Honored by Big Five At the annual Philadelphia Big Five women's basketball banquet held on Wednesday evening, four Villanova Wildcats were honored for their efforts during the 2007-08 season. Senior forward Stacie Witman and junior forward Laura Kurz were first team All-Big Five selections, while junior forward Lisa Karcic garnered a spot on the second team. 3/27/08 Wildcat Season Ends in 64-58 Loss to Colorado in Third Round of WNIT A game-ending 16-1 run by Colorado (18-14) in the final 3:17 erased a large deficit and Villanova (17-16) saw its season come to an end in a 64-58 loss in the third round of the WNIT on Thursday night at the Coors Events/Conference Center. The Wildcats led 57-48 with less than five minutes to play before the Buffaloes frantically rallied to win a game they had trailed for almost 39 minutes. more[+]
3/26/08 Wildcats Travel to Colorado for Third Round of WNIT Villanova (17-15) will travel to face Colorado (17-14) on Thursday night at 9 p.m. EST in the third round of the WNIT. The winner will take on either TCU or Texas Tech in the fourth round. more[+]
