In the spring of 2007, the Villanova softball team moved to its brand new stadium on Pike Field along Lancaster Avenue. The facility underwent improvements before the 2008 season and is now one of the best in the BIG EAST Conference. The field includes dugouts, warm-up areas and a state-of-the-art playing surface. Bleachers are located one level above the field along with an enclosed press box. Other features on the field level include storage areas for the softball team as well as the men’s and women’s track & field teams.
